Image Sizes and Specifications
Many Site Studio Content Components include an image field. Use this page as a reference for the recommended aspect ratio, upload size, and file type for each component to ensure that images stay sharp and consistent across your site.

Images in Site Studio
Site Studio will automatically resize and crop images to fit the aspect ratio and size requirements of designated image fields. You may adjust how your images are cropped at any time by visiting your Media Library.
If you wish to manipulate an image before uploading it to preserve the desired image composition, please refer to the specifications below.
File types
SAS Site Studio allows png, gif, jpg, jpeg, and webp formats.
When preparing visuals or artwork for screens, always use RGB images (Red, Green, Blue).
File size
Images should be below 5 MB.
Common Site Studio Image Sizes
Please note: all image dimensions are noted in pixels, width by height.
Basic Content Component
Uncropped images can be inserted into the Basic Content component. You may leave the image uncropped or choose from several standard sizes as well as adjusting the image alignment on the page.
News, Callout Block, Carousel, and Formatted Grid Images
- Aspect ratio: 16:9
- Recommended size: 4800 px x 2700 px
Event and Profile Images
- Aspect ratio: 1:1
- Recommended size: 2000 px x 2000 px
Book Cover
- Aspect ratio: 3:4
- Recommended size: 1500 px x 2000 px
Banner Image
- Aspect ratio: 40:7
- Recommended size: 4800 px x 834 px
The height of the Banner Image adjusts at different screen sizes.
